Failure to Export (SiteExport)

Page Export Problems: According to SiteExport trials there are 27 pages in the User Manual which do not export. The problems have not been determined yet nor have these pages been fixed. It is mostly likely a problem with size of image files.

By the time we were finish trng to export the Offline TOC with Export “Linked Pages” and “All parameters do” checked, we had to Exclude 52 pages total including all of the Toolbar_Button pages (about 25 pages) and a number of others, which are now contained in the “Manual-TOC-Offline-Single-Pages directory.

In order to create single page exports, it is highly likely that you must remove most of the “Excludes” from Admin > Configuration > SiteExport > Excludes (such as this)Keep this List of Excludes for later!

Leaving this in the Excludes field:

Because if they are “Excluded” you will not get a page!

Additionally “single page” works properly, and puts the images under “opencpn/manual/ etc” in the actual pages namespace and sets all the image links properly.

“all sub namespaces” seems to be less successful at doing just the namespace and all below.

• Try to export a single page in this manner if you are an Editor.

1. Navigate to the page using the links above.
2. Select the “Export Page (siteexport).
3. Siteexport will show a form with

• Set Namespace & Parent Namespace all entered properly referring to the namespace you came from.
• Set Namespace= Correctly entered by selecting the page first.
• Parent Namespace to Export= Correctly entered by selecting the page first.
• Export Type= This page only
• Export linked pages -Enable
• Export all parameters “do” -Enable
• Render Engine: ckedit
• Template: dokuwiki
• Everything else is unchecked.
• Just hit “Start” ( without first hitting one of the three “Direct”, “Wget” or “Curl”)
• When clicking the start button it should show you that it will export x/y pages.
• Similar to: Adding “opencpn:opencpn_user_manual:advanced_features:maximise_screen_display” ( 27 / 379 )
• It will pop up and prompt for download.

All 52 pages processed successfully as a single page, most of them within 1:30 minutes but one or two may have taken 2:30 minutes. All of these pages required NO CHANGES and were completed on the first try.

Why are they failing when we try top process a full document? Something is not set up correctly. A timing setting is switched or not operating I think. I have some confusion about all the Timing setting and what they apply too. I think the plugin may have similar confusion.
